Social media kicking in - visiting YLE TV1's talkshow "Voimala" 15. May 2009, 10:38

I attended YLE TV1’s talkshow Voimala last Monday (11.5.2009) as the given episode focused on the phenomenon of social media and its effects on the lives of individuals and our society.

An interesting group of people was gathered for the discussion. I had an opportunity to share ideas with Tuija Aalto (head of YLE’s new media development), Mika “Lumi” Tuomola (artistic director, Media Lab Helsinki), Helene Auramo (media consultant/CEO of Zipipop) and Jaana Venkula (consultant/social psychologist).

We had an intriguing, interesting conversation that still went on and on after cameras had been turned off (we changed the location to YLE’s café though).
