Sitra report and the upcoming article in the Futures journal 4. March 2010, 15:03

I did a design and research project for Sitra, the Finnish Innovation Fund, in which I studied and designed new creative uses of social media that would develop and enhance leadership, management, and communication practices (and thinking) in public sector.

The outcome, “A Social Media Concept and Strategy for Public Leadership and Management Programme”, has now been released as a Sitra report. The whole report can be downloaded from here.

I have actively continued design and research work around Futureself and my article “FutureSelf: Emerging Digitized Life Patterns and A Personal Future Simulation System” has been accepted to Futures – The journal of policy, planning and futures studies. Futures is one the most acknowledged scientific journals in the field of futures studies.

At the same time I’ve been developing the system itself – more info about the actual web service will follow in the near future.
